Happy 30th Birthday Nate!!!!

Happy 30th Nate! You are so loved! May you have another year full of good memories and new accomplishments!
Even after 30 years, Nate is still a kid at heart. Hence the legos on top of the cake.
Making a cake is no "piece of cake". Sure it seems simple enough when serving it out of the same pan that it is baked in, but it was actually really hard for me to get it out of the pan and stack one cake on top of the other and keep it in one piece. I am sure you pros are great at this but this was my first time. I went through multiple cake mixtures and ended up with a huge container full of cake crumbles in the end. The cake finally turned out after I called my sister to find out what the secret was. Thanks Paula!

Nate hiked the Grand Teton on 9-11-09

Nate trained all year for this and he finally accomplished his goal of hiking the Grand Teton. He did it all in one day, starting the trail at about 2:50 a.m., reaching the summit at about 1:00 p.m., and finishing at about 8:00 p.m. This picture was taken from down below about the same time Nate reached the summit. SO PROUD OF HIM!!!!!!!

Family Vacation in Lincoln City, Oregon

Don and Teresa planned and executed a wonderful family vacation. We all met up in Lincoln City, Oregon and had a great time on the beach. We had fun on the skim boards (it was hilarious to see everyone falling on their faces!), flew kites, ate some great sea food, shopped in the cute local stores, and spent the evenings relaxing in the hot tub at our beach house.

So... just consider us the luckiest parents ever! Jace sleeps 6 to 8 hours straight every night. Are we spoiled or what?

This is Roberta's sister, Paula, who came to visit from Phoenix. The woman is Martha Stewart and Betty Crocker put together and we adore her!
