Running Season

 Tori and I started training in the winter. I was really impressed with our dedication. We were out there everyday, blizzards and all.

 We did a 12K trail race (the Menan Butte) together. It was so hard but awesome! Combine an intense hike with running and that was our race.

The day before my birthday, I accomplished my goal of running a half marathon. It was such an amazing experience to set a goal, work hard, and then achieve it. Biggest lesson learned is that I can do really hard things (anything I want!)  if I am just willing to work for it.

Jace's 3rd Birthday

 Jace asked for a robot cake this year. i found instructions for this one online. it was so easy and fun to make! We celebrated at the park with family and friends.

Family vacation to Yellowstone National Park

 We stopped off at some springs right before entering the park. It was beautiful and we had fun feeding the birds.

 You can't really experience Yellowstone without having a Bison Traffic Jam

 The Canyon area and paint pods were awesome and they had some nice hikes to be able to see the views.

Old Faithful was really cool and worth the waiting. I wasn't so sure after sitting and staring at it for half an hour but once it erupted, I was completely satisfied.

Easter 2012

We had a really fun Easter. We were able to spend it with family. The kids got Easter baskets at Grandma and Grandpa's house, then did an egg hunt at the park. Both the boys looked so dang cute in their outfits for church.
